Can advise on which choice???

Hi All Rolex, Panerai and other watch lovers,

I am planning to get a watch (perhaps preowned), but not sure which model to choose, any good advice on the following choices? Thanks everyone in advanced!

1) PAM 388
2) PAM 505
3) Rolex Explorer II (42mm white dial)
4) IWC Mark XVII
5) IWC Portuguese Chrono (white dial)
6) Breitling Aerospace

Budget is between $2k - $9k

Iwc chrono seems nice.. I prefer 1950 case for Pam.

it really depends on what you're looking for in the watch, and what purpose you'd like it to serve etc.
the choices listed are actually quite varied, as is the budget.

out of your list, my personal favorite would be the Exp II. i had one as a daily beater until recently, very versatile watch.
2nd on my list would be the IWC Portu chrono, which is equally versatile yet dressy for a special occasion. my wife wears hers almost everywhere.

used to be a big Panerai fan, but not so hot about the modern day PAMs. a little sad about the direction the brand has been taking, but that's my personal opinion. they still make nice watches though

Explorer II or IWC Mark 17 for me. You should try it out at an AD to see if it fits on your wrists, as well as your looks.

I wish you could have included more Rolex in your list. Explorer 2 not really though. Probably a preowned GMT2..
