The custom straps which may not cost a lot more than the original but you have many more options to choose and experiment if you are willing to spend time on researching straps. I got a few and have them in different configuration which is interesting for me as in the buckle placement and tail length. Not to mention myriad of colour and thread options to match your watch colour.

Original strap is way over priced, thats why I use cheapo ones.

I got my 40yrs old Cellini an original strap at about SGD1070. I am so happy to see its original beauty was restored fully. The strap quality is top notch.

OEM straps doesn't last or offer as much comfort than the originals, needed up reverting to the originals evertime.

The straps from high-end brands are usually not worth it. I custom make straps and the quality in even the high end brands are really not up to par. Sadly a lot of consumers don't know that haha
