Mny years ago I knocked my Daytona against a granite wall and chipped the crystal at the 5 oclock mark, a few years ago....
What to do, in the end send to RSC for full servicing and crystal replacemnt, $1050.....

Had simliar experience when I was in Japan when a young lady knock into my watch with her bag in crowded train.

As for me whenever i'm taking public transport, i would normally tend to cover my watch with another hand (plam), just to prevent such cases lol.. The most your hand hurts but "physical pain" is temporary compare to "heart pain"..sigpicComment

Consider wearing a simple watch when taking public transport and carry a better watch in a pouch.
Change it when you are at work.
