I feel it's a hobby and not a must. An appreciation and perspective of life. Not everyone agrees with it but there are many who does. It shows you're a connoisseur to the finer things and not just keeping time. As mentioned, keeping strict time then owning a quartz watch would work just fine.

Yes sir! U r right! Buy from AD or 2nd Hand one no problem. Buy from backstreet alley then fishy... Encounter a few sale guys with hublot, rolex, pam, omega and corum. When I ask then how much, they all say other ppl buy for them. Too be frank, their watch quality is bad( from the steel bracelet to watch dial etc ). One look and u know it not ...
