There is a leather shop at Bishan Junction 8 (first floor) that sells leather products from bags to shoes/slippers, belts and pouches, etc. They customize any leather items you want them to, and I was told it will include leather watch straps too. I haven't gotten much details then but you may try it out.

i will visit the store this coming weekend..thinking to customize a new leather strap for my pam..thanks for sharing

I suggest you get the contact and call first because the leather maker will only be around to accept orders during the weekdays only. That was why, the staff I spoke with over one of the weekends could not furnish much details and advised that I re-visit the shop on a weekday to talk to the leather maker. I was told that the leather maker could do most customization that should include watch straps as well.
