That day I went into a bank and wanted to look at some insurance plans. Saw this banker wearing a Rolex.
What impression does it form?
Confidence? Or earning too much from us?

I felt nothing wrong with him wearing rolex. But so garang to use it as a tool watch.

Rolex is not out of reach to many. Like lv bags are not out of reach to many OL.
Just need some time to save. And there is always pre own route.

I have a client and I was doing some work for him.

He runs and owns 13 coffee shops.
During a break i noticed that he's got a well used Bell & Ross on his wrist and commented if it's a Bell & ross.

To my surprised, he told me straight that it's a replica !

I'm in construction but am an architect. I know enough that the contractor's watch tells me next to nothing about his capabilities. Its probably enough to let me have a sketchy profile of who he is but most of the time, its immaterial when you are deciding on who to award the contract to. He might know nuts about construction but if he is doing well enough to sustain a team of experienced staff, he's good. People working for him are just as important.

I think it depends on individual how they see.

To me,

A retail shop with fix price items. Boss wearing rolex = good service thus good business.
Insurance/property agent wearing rolex = good service thus good business.
2nd car dealers wearing rolex = money earned from "chopping" pple

Lava is DLC looking, volcano is SS no coating... That AP is shiny SS, maybe the lighting in the car no good so give the DLC look.

Erratum- It PVD and not DLC looking. The movement between the two also different if i am not wrong. Hehehe.
