I think this is commendable. Your wife knows what she really wants and not (blindly) succumb to 'fashion'. Everyone now talks about big watches. Well, to them "big is beautiful"; "big is bold"; "big is about making a statement". I agree that some people do look nice wearing big watches but not all. And some, I've often noticed, just don't fit the big watches. But I reckon it did not matter whether the 'over-sized' watch suits those people or not as long as it shows how 'fashionable' he/she is and can make a "I am rich enough" statement.Comment

I think ultimately is still the decision on the wearer, I believe she already know what she wants but just to seek 2nd opinion that all.
