IMO it's all relative. A smaller watch size might emphasise 'her size' and that might not be too flattering. That guy with the most beautiful avatar hit the nail on the head by suggesting the best is to try out different sizes at the AD. Then maybe take photos from afar and near and feel for herself which suits her more. No right or wrong here. 10 years from now, micro watches might be the rage

Yes, she's really a big sized lady and honestly, she's very honest with her self description.

Dunno how big her wrist exactly is but I will go and measure her wrist later and let u all know..

I did accompany her to THG la and she tried the 26mm datejust... Comments from me and sales rep were not very flattering and she's seeking more opinions. (I did told her that she probably can carry off a DSSD better than me.. Haha)

From the above she does sound like she is already dead set on the 26mm and is in denial mode of sorts.. think It would be good if some of the plus size members or ladies can post their wrist shots to help her along it would be great... I have seen some lady frens carry off a sub and pams very well plus size or not...
At the end of the day it is still a matter of opinion.... but a pict or two should help her....

Wearing a watch has nothing to do with a person's size. One has to Wear the watch rather than let the watch Wear her.... A 26mm is small even for most women nowadays so dun get too bothered abt that If I were ur colleague, I would try a Sub, GMT2, Yachtmaster for Rolex, IWC Portuguese or pilot 3777, AP 15450 or older 15300 and of course a Pam. In fact, the IWCs and APs are rather cool on ladies if she can pull it off!

I think now the 26 or 30mm are for more matured ladies, younger ladies will go for at least 36mm or above.

Bro, what I am saying is that size of watch is not correlated to size of the person. For me, after wearing the bigger watches, I am done with anything less than 30mm so my 26mm DJs are passé....
