  • Yoga is the Answer

I used to be very active Tennis playing competitively, had a injury,

I Tried yoga 4 half years back , I never look back, most people think yoga is a very light sport and you need to be flexible.
The fact is , you can be as stiff as a bull and still do yoga effectively,
its for your body , mind and soul. You practiced very effective breathing techniques. I can assure you, after 10 sessions per session approximate an hour , within 3 weeks, you will feel stronger ,look, feel and breathe better. not forgetting , your back aches will go away.

It tones, strengthened your body naturally, cleanse your internal organs at the same time.
there are many types of yoga, haltha, Power , hot, astanga and many more.....
I am just sharing with you since i benefitted from yoga, if anyone is interested to try, i can give you the contact person from PURE YOGA who can offer you a 7 day free trial without any obligation.

i just started yoga at Pure Yoga about 4 mths ago.
it is really true what chris wrote.

I feel much stronger now. I used to have back pains, not the very serious type, but its gone now.

Yoga will yield different type of benefits for diff people over diff period of time.
To me, just started 4mths, it is the immediate physical improvement I can feel. I must say that the more difficult benefits are those of the mind and soul type. This i feel will come the more you practice and learn how to "get into the zone" with each practice.

btw, im not promoting Pure Yoga, you should choose wherever is convienent for you, with good infrastructure, flexible/lots of classes, and most important, good teachers.

you have to talk to a consultant in a yoga center.
they will advise you, if not, then its the wrong yoga center.

I used to have very bad back pain too, even see physiologist, also no use. End I do haltha for almost 3 years and it really helps and improved flexibility. It's the safest low impact exercise around.
